Choice Precision, Inc. has been certified by IMSG (Integrated Management Systems Group) that their quality management system has been audited to International Standards and found to be in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 for the manufacture and sale of precision machined parts, components and value added sub assemblies. This certification was originally issued in October of 2007 and now applies through October 2013.
In addition, Choice Precision, Inc. has been found to be in accordance with the Management System Standards and Scope of Supply for the manufacture and sale of precision machined parts, components and value added sub assemblies as audited by IMSG to the AS 9100:C requirements. This certification applies through January 2014.
Choice Precision, Inc. continues to be a proven industry leader in quality by staying current in both systems management and process technology. VFD Technologies, Inc. has acquired Choice Precision, Inc.

VFD Technologies, Inc. has acquired a 100% interest in Choice Precision, Inc. located in Whitehall, PA. The company will continue to operate as Choice Precision, Inc., a specialty metal and advanced materials component manufacturer servicing a wide variety of markets, including; medical, aerospace, energy, material handling, transportation, equipment and custom industrial applications.
Founded in 1992, Choice Precision has grown from a small machine shop producing proprietary products for local businesses to a leading national manufacturer. Tom Gunkel, founder of Choice Precision reflects on the business “as always gravitating toward the more difficult and complex geometries that required a high degree of design engineering and process technology to support the application”. Mr. Gunkel is very proud of the company’s track record of success and the longevity of his relationship with customers, suppliers and employees.
Beth Rothwell, President of Choice Precision, indicates that “Choice offers a unique set of machining capability and skills that can satisfy the most demanding applications from their customers.
